I've often wondered about the sunsets here. Now I know: http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/41806

The hedge has always put me off even trying to be there (Insert Mutley sounds here.) 'Spose I'll have to stop and check it out next time I'm passing at the right time of day.

I had planned a North Tipp trip for today and the weather's fantastic, but I seem to have buggered my back up again and so can't go anywhere :-( Next week I'll be fine and full of energy and it'll piss it down, you watch!

Replying to FourWinds

The hedge is a nuisance alright, though I would be more interested in sunrises here with the valley between the two hills on the opposite side.

They do have one saving grace though, they do give a nice dappled light to the stones at evening time, I've quite a few photos to get through but I arrived just as the 'golden hour' was ending.

Is there a known alignment here?
