Almost inevitable that any reviewer would then write "Interesting little book. But of course it is very dated, and has been overtaken by new research..."
Can't actually see those words in Rob Ixer's review in BritArch Mr m - m'be I'm missing something. What he actually says is, "This independently-produced and excellently-illustrated little book deserves its place alongside other populist Stonehenge titles..."
Yes yes, I know that. And I'm grateful for Rob's review, and for the fact that the mag did at least ask for one -- unlike a lot of other mainstream mags, which have studiously ignored the book. I'm just a bit grumpy, on the basis that a review would have been rather more helpful a year ago!

Yes yes, I know that.
Good to hear that you knew that Mr m. 'fraid I'm a bit of a pedant when it comes to quoting stuff (I like to know where it's coming from, that it's been accurately quoted etc :-)
