Thanks for that. Yes, I knew that was coming. But it's extraordinary that a mainstream journal like that, which can get stuff into print quickly, should wait a whole year before commissioning a review. Almost inevitable that any reviewer would then write "Interesting little book. But of course it is very dated, and has been overtaken by new research..." But I suppose one must be grateful for small mercies!

Can't actually see those words in Rob Ixer's review in BritArch Mr m - m'be I'm missing something. What he actually says is, "This independently-produced and excellently-illustrated little book deserves its place alongside other populist Stonehenge titles..."
