Don't worry about it, I'm nearly through with the forum, and I only bid your European Antiquarian book to 3.33. But do you remember finding a scraper on Smithills moor and me saying 'take it to the museum' ? Your photograph of it was published in an online book, on the moors, by someone called Dave ?????. It'll still be online, no doubt.

There used to be a glass case, at Hall'ith'wood, that had flint implements in. They'd been collected by the then curator. These have gone missing - with luck, they'll be in the town museum storerooms. There doesn't seem to be any record of them.

Check that out.
I had an FLO dismiss it as debris knocked off a larger stone. I still have it though, so maybe I'll get a second opinion :)

Thanks for the bid btw, someone got a bargain anyway.
