Hello Megadread, definitely Cairnborrow, between Huntly and Dufftown on the A920. I've never heard of Stanage before but if I'm ever down that way I'll be sure to look.

Yeah i checked your site out, quite alike in some ways, the thumbnail pic and the stella caused me to look twice.

If your ever up / down this way and want a guide just give me a shout, always glad to get out for a walk with a fellow stone nut.
