That's a beautiful link TE, thanks. I'm away to Borrowdale in the Lake District tomorrow for a walking/stoney holiday; first foray will be to Castlerigg. My mother's funeral was earlier this week so what better place to reflect on the transitory nature of our lives.

Carpe diem ... here's to life while it is ours.

TE, many thanks for mentioning W.Heaton Cooper. Visit Grasmere early on in the week as heavy rain prevented hill walking. I made a beeline for the Heaton Cooper Gallery - alhough I hadn't remembered that you posted the above, it was the print I picked out as my favourite too.
