I visited the burial site at Ty Newydd on Sunday. Circling the site are a series of concrete posts. Does anybody know for sure what these represent? Is it the extent of the original cairn? I'll be posting my notes and images for this site later this afternoon - one of them shows one of a number of suspicious large stones used as part of the nearby drystone wall. I wondered if at one time these had been part of the monument.
