I was there last Monday as well. Watched the 'sunrise'.

There's a lot of rocky stuff on the bog, including some firmly lodged stones that are definately natural. I can't vouch for the specific area you're talking about though.

To my knowledge there is no record of there having been a second circle (although that's not to say there isn't one).
