When I went hunting for Knocks North stone circle I was told it was 'ruined', so when I could not find an easy route to it I didn't go out of my way and I've never bothered going back to see it. From the road 150m away I could see the tops of two stones over a hedge and that was it.

I'll have to go back now, though. It's a cracker!

Thanks Gordon!

That is great, it is always nice to "rediscover" a site that was thought to be lost.

Whoops! I could actually have put it up long 'go - just lack of organisation in getting myself south the road. The axial and southern flanker used to be lost in a field hedge, but it was all cleared some time back.
It'd be nice to have you site recording down Corkside again - your books have you up North a lot!
