i think it would be a grand idea to light the beacons this winter solstice in a show of solidarity for the tara campaign esp for all those unable to make it over to ireland. there has been a vigil camp going for some time now. what is happening gets mostly overlooked in the press. if they ploughed a motorway through egypts valley of the kings there would be international outrage. when the media is silent then the world thinks nothing is wrong and that theres nothing to protest for. i think that if people could organise themselves for this winters solstice to get to the highest points in their counties and light the beacons then maybe some notice will be taken of the destruction of a world heritage site that is afterall the ancient sacred heart of ireland. wot ya reckon?
