Hill of Tara

Tara Petition

That's written really well ... except for one line

"A landscape honoured and revered by millions throughout the world today and countless generations of Irish people gone before us. "

The Hill of Tara was only identified as being such in 1837. Before then it was just a hill with loads of un-named bumps on it. It was O'Donovan & Petrie who translated the manuscripts that lead to its true identification.

This is not to diminish the cause in anyway! Tara *is* the heart and soul of Ireland. I can sit there, thrust my hands into the grass and earth, and reach out to the very corners of Erin!

The road MUST be stopped. Expect to see me in a tree if it carries on!

Heritage Action is watching!

Looks like the campaign groups doing an excellent job, all we can do is help get the word round.
