I notice on there the fantastically insincere "The port will be designed and operated to provide the highest environmental standards and respect for the local community." AFter all, the monuments are just some rocks in a field. And this is "a lifestyle opportunity for local people to work locally". The world is an unfair mess.

Yep. Its the hypocrisy that irks most.

Leading the consortium is Real Estate Opportunities Limited and according to Pilgrim's link its objectives are
"to meet its banking obligations and satisfy its obligations to its loan stockholders; to satisfy the final capital entitlement of the zero dividend preference shareholders; and to provide ordinary shareholders with capital growth and income by means of a progressive dividend policy."

No mention of not slitting their granny's throat if necessary to fulfill the objectives...

We need a word to describe corporate claims to be concerned about heritage. Gravelspeak maybe.
