In the latest issue of the CADW magazine there is a 3 page report on the excavations carried out last year at Tinkinswook and the nearby St Lythams burial chamber.

It pretty much repeated what has already been reported although it did add that a previously unknown Bronze Age Barrow (5m across) had been discovered near the 'quarry area' and that both Tinkinswood and St Lythams now have 'audioposts' which tell the story of the sites.

A further visit required then!

Be careful at St.Lythams, our car was broken into when we visited there, the only time we've seen this in many hundreds of site visits in several countries.

Hmm. If you like that sort of thing at your site visits.
