Go the whole way and raise the fallen Stone 7 to its upright position, thereby restoring the quoit to full working order. Air bags could do it, or archeologists.

The only archaeologist I've seen do anything useful with stone is the TV man, from TimeTeam, who is an expert knapper. Screw jacks and bits of sleepers would do the trick, but you'd need a Fred Dibnah type person to do it. And how would you set the raised stone? In hammered clay, with lots of chocks and packing, or in concrete?

And where exactly would you raise it to? It's 8' 6" long in a 5' 10" opening height to stand just within the existing rear side stones!!
This site needs extensive surveying to work out exactly where it stood, was it earthbound, was it intended to be a rear closure and are all the other side stones in their correct positions. Something is not right and needs sorting, hence my resaerch work taking place.
