You missed the most important part of the statement which the quote qualifies i.e. "The lunar alignments will be certain " .That is what is , at leaast ,illogical .Our investigations and findings so far have led us to call Trethevy Quoit a 'Solar Construct'. The label of 'Portal Tomb' is based on pure conjecture!

You have it the wrong way round . "Solar construct " is a conjecture .
Have a look at any reasonable description of the characteristics of a portal tomb and you will find that Trethevy is a perfectly logical ideal candidate in it's mophology as well as belonging to the iconic monument type of Cornwall .
