You can't beat pine needle surfing , not a pastime for summer though .
Great stuff. They are very distinctive . Twenty years of pine cover could provide a handy comparison too .

The jury is still out regarding panel 2, so there might well be more needle surfing yet to come. There are a couple of features that were found about 60, away from Stan's ref for panel2. They sort of do-and-don't match his descriptions. It's an excuse to go back again :)
