I'll be back in southern Spain in August (my folks live in Mazarron) and I'm looking for new places and I don't mind a long drive.

Great to see you went to Las Penas de los Gitanos. A wonderful place! I was there in 2005 and nearly died of dehydration!

You really should try to get to Los Millares. The TME write up doesn't do the place any justice whatsoever. It's absolutely amazing! Make sure you have enough time to check out some of the surrounding forts, too. I didn't and I have to go back now ;-)
