Hi Dave,

The list of sites that Greywether has sent you for Kintyre is hard to beat but don't forget to visit Kilmartin Glen.
Outside of Avebury/Stonehenge, Kilmartin is the best in the UK.
Climb to the top of Dunadd hill fort, place your foot in the ancient carved foot print and, facing the Holy mountain of Ben Cruachan, just feel those centuries peel away!
The visitors centre/museum and the church yard in Kilmartin village will provide a great day out if the weather's inclement (cough). Dont want to put the dampers on your visit mate, but its 'dreich and dreiry'(scots vernacular for crap) at the moment.

Let us know how you get on,

You'll think I'm off-mi-head, but for me the Kilmartin valley sites are even better

Thanks everyone
