It does sound a bit fanciful doesn't it? It's not the Hurlers though, as they're mentioned and illustrated separately, and the caption says it's in St Just. He also seemed quite adamant that they were circles with outliers and avenues, though the latter are not shown in the sketch.

Vaguely reminiscent of that whopping great complex over in N Ireland.
