May I be pedantic and point out that neither of the sites mentioned are in 'Eire' (yet).
Not pendantic ... though I always think of Ireland as one country. Donegal is after all in the north of Ireland but is part of Eire. Ireland belongs to Ireland, ... my geography teacher told me that many years ago (and yes, she was Irish).
Bang on! I lived over there for a while in the 1980's when Norn Irn was quite a "funky" place to study, work and live.Ireland is an island. Eire and the Six Counties are 20th C .political constructions Donegal is more Northern than Northern Ireland. Donegal lies firmly in Ulster. I used to sit in my flat on the seafront in Portstewart looking North into Southern Ireland.
Once you get the geography and politics sorted out the rest is easy!
