Not Proudoe - but Prudhoe. I've been to Plymouth (once) and didn't see any hills. Lovely open air changing rooms for the sea, though (which had bits of sewage floating in it). A long time ago!

Looks like the Hoe in Plymouth , according to Wiki , has the same Saxon root as the others .
