still look a bit brand new, altho i quite liked the rows as i've not seen any in real life.

it must have been done a year or two ago as the grass has grown back.

smaller than avebury stones, and similar in colour to stanton drew ones.

the cromlechs are evil tho'. very clunky, no poised capstone grace on pointed uprights, just heavy looking and chunky.

you can park-up and see them without having to pay to get into the showcaves.

interesting to see so many large stones in different arrangements so close together, i'd be interested to know how much of a mind went into the placing of stones.

According to the Web site the stones are a millenium cellebration, so they should be about 3 years old.

Almost old enough to make it on to the MA (just 99 years to go).
