I can't (and won't) speak for others on this site, but I'd like to say thanks for trying to calm things down, on your own site and over here. Seems to me a grown up attitude to all this is likely to be more productive than a flame war.

I don't think you'll win many ppl here (including me) over to your "sport", as leaving things at ancient sites is not a highly regarded pastime in these parts, regardless of how well hidden and how small it is. I think we'll just have to agree to differ.

Thanks for your understanding.

It transpires that the post made about Geocaching was placed on a misunderstanding of your website.

The parties responsible, thought the site was about places of interest to all and not the *specific* interest's you have. This is not a criticism, when I first saw the Mod Ant site, I did not realise the significance of the places listed. This is obviously due to my ignorance of your interests.

Dan has placed an apology in our forums and addressed it to Mod Ant as well. I think he posted that apology there because he won't dare come back here to post that apology, for fear of the replies he would get.

I do hope you are right and we can peacefully co exist without issue. As I said above, if there is a concern over any cache, please email me and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
