I've been enjoying these so far. A lot of Roman stuff which ain't my thing really but the big sea dragon on tomorrow looks good.

I've guessing the world and their granny has watched this one already by now but I thought this programme was excellent

My wife and I volunteer on Op Nightingale digs and the dig investigating a Bronze Age settlement on Salisbury Plain followed by roundhouse build at Butser Ancient Farm was on episode 2 last Wednesday. Couple of bits show me finding some pottery and I actually sound like I may know what I'm talking about (which is a very rare occurrence).

Our dig last July on an Anglo-Saxon cemetery, again on Salisbury Plain, should be on tomorrow night's one!

"Sea dragon" impressive but paleontology, surely. Anyway, predictably, a Rutland MP was on her feet within a day asking for museum funding!
