I find this very interesting because of where it is. My sister has lived in Eton for many years (yes, I am the poor relation). I've discovered when visiting that the area between Windsor Castle, the Thames and Datchet is actually quite rural. Home Park and the Royal Farms are nearby and run by the Crown Estate so there is probably loads of archaeology that remains undisturbed - and no doubt will continue to be so for a long into the future. It is an important historic area and it seems logical that it has been a place of great significance back into prehistory too.

Obviously it's humanly impossible for me to resist the need to mention that this is close to where The Dark Is Rising is set.
