I assumed your reply to my other post in the thread was general rather than specifically a reply to what I'd said, but I did laugh when you said you were surprised at how this thread had gone. This is kinda normal :)

I share Carol's sense of wonder, and I'm not really all that arsed about proving/disproving a theory as long as I keep getting that "wow" feeling when I go and visit somewhere good.
