At first glance it seems funny, then preposterous but what is really worrying is the brain washing aspect - but then a fair proportion of the British public allowed themselves to be fired up into a shopping frenzy this weekend. Who was driving that? Amazon and other big corporations.
I do sometimes think that when the Internet eventually crashes and all the books have disappeared we may return to a futuristic 'pre-history'.
