I always go bog trotting in wellies, much dryer.
I actually feel quite at home in them as I wear them a great deal of the time when I'm training my sheepdogs. Keeps the lower part of your trousers clean and dry as well!

Good boots for the feet and ankles, black bin bags and some strong tape, will get you through everything really..apart from scary cows! Charged at us. Ended up climbing a fence in Somerset. Scary and beware! They live there.

I have often thought about getting a pair of Le Chameau boot's for the winter months as I have heard excellent reviews about but couldn't quite justify the cost.
Could anybody recommend a similar quality welly without the huge mark-up for the label? I would be looking for something warm and comfortable as I am getting on a bit these days ;)
