He also says Neolithic people went everywhere by foot. So (apart from sarsen-shifting routes) all routes would only be paths wouldn't they?

I started reading Chapter 9 but only got two pages in before I had to stop for the sake of my own well being.

And also still referring to the Neolithic and contradicting his on foot comment , "Waggons with solid disc wheels were available " .
Not as far as we know in the Neolithic though Rodney , earliest wheel (Blair Drummond )is MBA at the earliest .
