So does the Peak District sound like an idea then (sorry hedgedruid)?
I have only passed through with a quick stop off at Arbor Low and the 9 Maidens and really don't know the area at all. Would anybody who does be interested in showing a few strangers around some time?

Given enough notice, I'd be up for assisting some internet weirdoes! Robin Hood's Inn is a good point for walks up Gardom's edge, gibbets moor or near by moors. Or picnic on big moor or Wet Withens?

Well given i mention i'm up for showing people round this area at any opportunity, i can't really shy off now. So yes, i'm deffo up for this.

On a personal note, you're very much welcome to join us for the annual Avebury wander as last year mate. No date set as yet though.
