Great stuff Carl. I would love to go along but doubt i'll get the time.

Sanctuary - I've just been reminded, did you ever find out the name or location (in N Wales) of the burial mound in your story? The story where you felt 'held back' from walking toward it.
I would really like to know which site it was.

Oops, sorry, yes it is more N Wales than south :-)
More?! Its right next to Snowdonia national park! Thats North, as far as Wales is concerned, anyhow!

I seem to recall your description of the site as being up a track off a main road, (with a sign pointing to the burial mound/chamber) and that there were two standing stones either side of the track at the top, just before you got to it.

Portmerion, that's the prisoner place, cant help with the burial place tho as theres quite a few

You can tell I don't go to Wales much can't you!! Right this is all I can tell you. Yes it was up a track on the LHS of the road on the 470 going east from Portmeirion then possibly down as far as just before that big lake by Trawsilyeydd (sp). Sign on the road pointed up the track saying Burial Mound. It was a wooded area and the track went right through it and as it came out of the wood there were two standing stones and probably about 150 yards beyond a rather large mound. Donkeys years ago now!
