Yes that was my impression at the time, but further investigation of the TMA database gives this in the right place...

I don't think that is the same "circle " Moss . The article describes the recent one as being near Wilton which is the other side of Egremont and 4km to to the west , plus Burl mentions the one noted by Fitz and it was marked on the 1957 OS large scale map .
