Yeah, that was what I was wondering when I referred to "more tangible evidence" above. The Caesar stuff makes their existence recorded as a matter of historical fact, but that doesn't mean it's actually true (although I'll admit I always assumed it was, in some form). Someone needs to find a big pit on Ynys Mon filled with golden sickles and improbably-preserved robes!
