Well spotted Moss .
So no alignments merely 12 pits with the largest in the middle except , no. 6 which is more like the smaller pits at the extremes .This anomaly (6) will be the one that is associated with the sun . The "general arc "of 12 is what was previously described as an alignment . Even more salt required .

Last night's Reporting Scotland coverage of the "calendar" was hilarious. The archaeologist lady explained that the dating for the pits which "measured time" was "at least 5,000 years earlier than the old one...." before corpsing in front of the camera.

Brilliant stuff!
