Yes, ultimately they should have the final say, if indeed they are the indigenous people (are they ? ) and it's the reason i wouldn't climb it.On the other hand it's the same reason i do have the right to climb Silbury. The NT, EH etc have no authority over me.
SILBURY IS NOT A HILL, IT'S A MAN-MADE MOUND AND A VULNERABLE PREHISTORIC SITE OF IMMENSE IMPORTANCE. Sorry to shout ... loads of other hills around to climb including Harestone Down.
