Wow really inteligent replies to my post on here , quality food for thought for sure !! someone once said 'war is the condition of man' ,. so sad really , a failing. be good to feel we could soon evolve toward compassion, and a desire for peace without being spaced out in any way,.
Gladman and TE? Take what you can get, my friend.

Incidentally, speaking of music engendering 'peace' .... I went to see a - to me - brilliant young Russian violinist by the name of Victoria Goldsmith play the solo in Beethoven's violin concerto with the Southend Philharmonic last night. That's Southend, Essex. Quite what somewhat so brilliant a talent was doing here with us I do not know, but guess Essex hasn't seen anything like it since Nigel Kennedy played here back in 1980.

25 years ago our countries were mortal enemies before Thatcher, Reagan and Gorbachev broke the deadlock through dialogue. Yeah, communication is the only way forward and, if music is indeed the 'universal language', there is no more important medium.
