I don't see a problem . The site was originally viewed as a healing spring Minerva has the healing connection there was also a temple to Asclepius (god of healing ) at Cross bath , the baths are considered a spa which suggests healing ,bathing doesn't preclude healing and both go together . even today the water is drank for health at the pump room .
