Very strange. I ordered the book on the 22nd, I received it on the 26th and inbetween Jocasta Innes who was the mother of Jason Goodwin, John Michells mysterious son who wrote the foreward to the book. She died on the 24th*. The last week has been bookended by listening to the old BBC Last word of JM and now his angry old paramour.

*my previous comment was made the day before she died.

I take it back the Guardian states she died on the 20th. Publ on 24th - that same day JM died.
