Remember Streams can flow underground as well as overground, maybe it's a question for dowsers, i'm pretty sure i remember reading or being told by dowsers that the Avenues at Avebury follow underground watercourses, i'm not so sure myself but the kink in the WKA near Avebury is very watercourse like, and would explain why you think there may be a link between the Avenues and Water, Just a thought...
Dowsers ! When they speak my fingers go in my ears.

The one's i've met are very boring indeed, nice but boring, but underground streams and springs running along faults and from them are real enough and known to be true because of seismic testing and most dowsers can easily find underground water courses, not my world though, although i've always been interested in faultlines though and it makes me laugh when people say that there's no link between faults and Ancient sites as how would they know, because the only parts to have been seismicly tested are places they've been looking for oil or the like, i knew someone who worked for a seismic testing company in the 90's and he said they'd done around the coast but not much inland at all, so when the country has been fully tested we'll finally know once and for all whether there's a correlation between ancient sites and faults but until then we just don't really know whats under all our feet and how it's all linked together in 3D.
