They'll do whatever they please knowing there will always be customers. It's just a shame they don't take as much interest in the hundreds of other sites in their care that are lying ruined and unkept. Yep, I know, shortage of money. Not at the henge though eh!!

What happened to the original suggestion that access would be free for those willing to walk to the stones on foot? Did that get quietly buried, or is it still part of the proposal? If not, how will they enforce entrance charges with the fence taken down? Can't see any info regarding this on the EH website....
