I haven't kept up to date in detail but I think the archaeologists got the Ministry to go easy on the time limits. It's an interesting issue - if they're allowed to keep the Stonehenge remains for years, why not him?

I guess it's to do with the scientific value. Now Dick3's been thourough inspected, drilled, scanned etc. the only reason to keep him disinterred is as some sort of freak show. Also, we know who he is.

Whereas I imagine the Stonehenge bones; we don't know anything about them so they're allowed to keep hold until they've done all the science that they need to.

Always a bit emotive though...
