Hi Emma. Yes it’s very close – about another 10 minutes up the road on the number 59 bus :-)

My hut is no longer there - it’s now a parking lot :-( but once it was surrounded by tall camellia trees and a little stream. In the distance I could see Kinugasa Mountain. Ledged has it that long ago one of the emperors ordered his courtiers to do something about the hot summer. Distraught, one of them came up with the bright idea to drape the trees covering Kinugasa with pieces of white silk. They stole out one night to do the work. When the emperor awoke the next morning, and looked out at Kinugasa, it looked like snow had fallen on it :-)
