You don't have to fast or take drugs or anything to access these motifs they are found everywhere in all cultures at all times and in children who have clearly not had to fast etc .

Another reason why making these patterns doesn't have to involve mushrooms. Art often imitates nature, doesn't it.

And no, not mushrooms, in answer to your question. Which immediately invalidates any argument I could make, no doubt.
