Reading tea-leaves to describe tall dark strangers and journeys over water....foretelling how a battle will go by studying the fresh entrails of a newly slaughtered beast...studying the star formations to advise when best to buy a lottery ticket....all work for somebody somewhere. No explanation is needed.
This topic strayed ever so wildly off course...but reading back it seems that no-one has any first hand or verifiable evidence other than 2nd or 3rd hand anecdotal that stones(and/or trees) fling people across distances further than they can jump, except a dowser who had an epiphany about anti-gravity whilst being flung (unwitnessed) by a stone...which is why we got onto the tack of mystic powers and earth energies...whether we believe it or not....I don't, others do and others yet don't give a toss(NPI).
Actually the pun was intended...best to be on the safe side these days and flag up the humour(funny or not) to prevent misunderstandings.

Time to give a toss so. I've always thought it would be a credible test of astrologers, to commentate on the history of a person once given their details, and NOT the future. Surely if you can work out what's going to happen, you can employ the same means to find out what has already happened. Then you could compare the prediction accurately to the actuality.
I watched someone dowse once with a crystal on a string above a rock. You could see their hand moving....
