I agree with a lot of what he has said,

Channel 4 Cost Cutting me thinks! I have allways been a fan of Time Team right from the first series, but I feel it has now run its course The recent programs have in my opinion gone down hill,

;) ;) love it, TMA control the news then? What with Copius 's Somerset news the whole thing is descending into a comedy play.... Bet it will beef up TT viewing if nothing else...

It's a bit sad that Mick Aston is quoted as saying he's not proud of TT.

I know there are plenty of shortcomings, but for years it was the only (non-Egypt-centric) archaeology show on TV and it brought an awareness of chunks of our past that are often overlooked to a wider audience (i.e. it's not just the Romans then Kings and Queens).
