Start of September sees the end of many successful digs throughout the country , Orkney was once again spectacular , August was a great month for books ,"Gathering Time " and " Great Crowns of Stone " both as good as it is gets . Then up pops the Stonehenge brigade with tv progs in tow , to put the mockers on it and spoil the party . What a load of self serving bollocks even "alternative " archaeos would blush . What could have been an interesting possible chambered cairn , as recorded by Toby driver , has been turned into a henge with two standing stones and a passage grave surrounded by healing springs all to bolster a weak at best theory about another monument well over a hundred miles away .
