Glaciers do not melt due to air temperature. They can be 1,000 feet thick and are susceptible to many other factors other than simple air temperature.

Add to that that impartial surveys have found that 50% of glaciers are receeding and 50% of glaciers are growing - so, is it a worry, or has it been over-egged?
