The problem is of course that none of us are clever (or informed) enough to comment, except to get into that old argument 'yes it is, no it isn't'. We only observe the world around us and listen to the news. Which has ample evidence of global disquiet such as glaciers retreating, seasons being out of kilter. Now whether this is due to the activity of humans or is 'natural' we can't put our money where our mouths are with certainty, we only know that it is happening and it is our industrial if not our human presence that seem to be causing some of the problems at the moment..
So talk of green energy is a valid discussion in a world that appears at the moment to be experiencing a lot of natural upheavals, and maybe as westerners we can think a little more about the fate of the people in Bangledesh and less about proving our own righteousness in a particular argument ;)
