No matter. I've said my bit, let's go on with the good stuff. What do you reckon, was the track an Avenue? When you stand at the right spot you can just see the Sanctuary and Sil is equidistant between the two so it's a seductive idea if the track REALLY went to that spot.

It wouldn't be much good looking for anything on a map, but FlashEarth might just show something. I used to get called for walking backwards and forwards making straight line movements with my arms, but that was by farmers and gamekeepers, so I didn't mind too much. Better than walking round a field shouting 'huff, huff'.
