I'm 100% with you on everything you say, and the tepid prevaricating from the NT and co. is gutless and pathetic.
Well, both the Tory party and the National Trust are stuffed full of the landowners that stand to gain billions of pounds from this. "Case by case basis" means "fill your boots chaps"

Moss is right about the Conservatives. Each half generation forgets what they are actually about, maximising the advantage of those in charge of them (and kidding the rest of their supporters they represent THEM as well.) A new generation is about to learn the hard way.

Absolutely Nigel. I couldn't agree more. I remember last time around only too well. The Tories never give, but always take away, and no suprise that it's now our ancient heritage that will be cynically and selfishly traded to fill their coffers. If you take away someone's heritage, you take away their spirit and independence. Ancient living woodland that has witnessed and withstood so much change cannot withstand this if they get their way.
Shameful and an outrage.
